Kassis made headlines last year for her 90-30-50 weight loss method, which involves eating at least 90 grams of protein, 30 grams of fiber and 50 grams of healthy fats every day.

The Recommended Dietary Allowance for protein is 0.36 grams per pound of body weight.

The AHA, meanwhile, advises eating at least 25 to 35 grams of fiber a day.

And if you’re on a 2,000-calorie daily diet, the Mayo Clinic says your fat consumption should be limited to 44 to 78 grams a day.
