I’m A Celeb’s Coleen Rooney praised by rival Rebekah Vardy in U-turn after Bushtucker Trial
Coleen Rooney took part in her first Bushtucker Trial on Sunday night's episode of I’m A Celebrity, alongside radio presenter Dean McCullough. The wife of Wayne Rooney was covered in insects during the trial, which was dubbed 'Absolute Carnage'. However, she and Dean managed to win an impressive nine stars for camp.
In a shocking turn of events, Rebekah Vardy praised the mum of four for her efforts in the trial. In her column for The Sun, giving commentary on the show that also features McFly's Danny Jones, Tulisa Constovolas and Love Island’s Maura Higgins, Rebekah said: “It’s blowing a gale at home but there’s definitely a rumble in the jungle.
“Luckily it’s not in the campmates’ stomachs, as Teabag Dean had Coleen with him for Absolute Carnage and they managed to get nine stars. I’m applauding Coleen. She really held her nerve as the mealworms, cockroaches and rats crawled all over her.”

The surprising praise comes after Rebekah’s constant comments shading the super-WAG, 38, and her campmates. Just last week as the new series started, Rebekah called the campmates "dull and wet" and admitted she'd relish seeing Coleen munch on "bull's penis and humble pie".
Coleen famously accused Rebekah, who is married to Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy, of leaking her private information to The Sun in a viral post on social media. In July 2022, a judge at the High Court found the post was “substantially true”.
Also in last night’s episode, Coleen had viewers in stitches as she casually delivered one of the most savage put-downs yet this series, leaving fans convinced she's destined for a shot at the Queen of the Jungle title.
Before the trial, Coleen enjoyed a chilled morning in camp where she shared some juicy gossip about her time in America when her husband, Wayne, played for DC United. Coleen revealed they were invited to the White House to meet Donald Trump during his first term as President. Trump wanted the England legend to teach his son to play football.
However, Coleen was left gobsmacked by a comment made by the then 78 year old President. She said: "We walked in and we got to get the official photograph taken in front of the Christmas tree.
"So Donald Trump said to his son: 'See? Told you, all the soccer players get the good looking girls'”. Not one to hold back, Coleen added: "And I told my mum, I was like 'dirty b*****d.'"
Fans loved Coleen's casual "savagery" with one viewer tweeting: "Coleen calling Donald Trump a 'dirty b*****d' has ENDED ME, give this girl the crown." Another said: "DIDN'T HAVE COLEEN CALLING OUT DONALD TRUMP ON MY BINGO CARD."
Another wrote: "Coleen Rooney telling her mum that Donald Trump is a dirty b*****d I love this woman so much." Others wrote: "Waittt I am kind of obsessed with Miss Wagatha Christie!" and: "Coleen calling Tr*mp a dirty b*****d... Yeah, she's my queen of the jungle."
Others were impressed with her treatment of Dean, who has become notorious on the show for flunking difficult trials. One wrote: "Big shots fired from Coleen tonight already. She's told Dean, 'But you've got to be in it,' and she's called Donald Trump a dirty b*****d as well.. I honestly love her, she's my favourite camp mate".
