Lynda Carter defends Wonder Woman as a 'superhero for bisexuals'

Carter, who once played Wonder Woman in a series that ran from 1975 to 1979, took to Twitter at the beginning of Pride Month to celebrate with her "LGBTQIA+ friends and fans". The post drew criticism, with one person claiming Wonder Woman "is not a super hero for gays". Carter fired back, setting the record straight. HuffPost reports that in 2016, Greg Rucka, a writer for 'Wonder Woman' comics, confirmed the superhero is queer.
