A luxury Maldives resort is offering remote working with a difference.

The Nautilus Maldives has launched a 'Workation Package', complete with a stunning sea view from your desk, a "dedicated" personal assistant, daily yoga, non-stop refreshments, and a complimentary laundry service.

Other benefits include fitness and meditation classes, a private dolphin cruise at sunset on a luxury yacht, and a private Wi-Fi enabled workstation set up on sandbank with a view of the ocean next to a shaded canopy.

Along with the breathtaking views, your desk will be come fully fitted with a phone, wireless printer, scanner, portable projector and screen and a fax machine.

The resort, which recently reopened on 1st September, is offering travellers the chance to set up office at this hideaway in the Baa atoll UNESCO biosphere reserve for up to 21 days.

A seven-night stay for two at one of its 26 beach and ocean houses will cost around £18,171, while a two-week or three week stay will set guests back £30,000 or £40,640 respectively.

The team at The Nautilus say remote workers will be offered "incredible seclusion" at the resort, which is located on its own private island.

Upon your arrival, customs, baggage claim and immigration admin will all be handled by The Nautilus Maldives staff while you relax in the comfort of a private airport lounge. Wi-Fi is also available all over the resort and island, so you can move around and work freely.

The Maldives is currently open to all tourists provided they have proof of a negative Covid-19 PCR test taken no more than 72 hours before departing from their original destination.

However, as the Maldives is not currently on the UK's travel bridge list, you will have to quarantine for two weeks upon your return.
