Lululemon shoppers are snapping up these $49 shorts in multiple colours — here's why

Summer is right around the corner, meaning it's time to give your wardrobe a colourful update.
Every Thursday, Lululemon adds new items to their We Made Too Much section, giving you the opportunity to get your hands on some of their most-popular pieces at some can't-miss prices. This week, we're loving their swimsuits and their selection of Align products.
But Yahoo Canada editors have their eyes one We Made Too Much item in particular: the Evergreen High-Rise Short.

Why shoppers love them
Designed for on the move, these high-rise, water-repellent shorts can be worn on their own or overtop your tights to keep yourself dry and comfortable.
Shoppers love the '90s aesthetic these shorts give off, with the looser fit and colour-blocking pattern.
"These shorts serve '90s camp counsellor and I’m here for it. They have a fun retro vibe and look cute with a T-shirt front tucked," one review reads. "These are retro, practical, comfy, baggy-on-purpose, cute girl shorts. If you’re into that look, you’ll love them! Do size down one from your typical."
These shorts are definitely thick-leg approved, as one shopper notes, given the roomy leg.
"I have a small waist, and larger legs and butt, and these are the only reason I am in shorts this summer," a shopper said. "The rise sits high and the length is flattering. I bought all three colours so I am begging for more options!"
Lululemon fans love how versatile these shorts are.
"If I could wear these everyday, I would," one review reads. "I have been swimming, paddle boarding, running and lounging in these since I got them and they're still in awesome condition and cool in the super hot summer weather. I might have to buy another pair in a different colour."
While some shoppers say that the material is a bit noisy when walking, it seems like the pros outweigh any cons.
"I love love love these shorts. They’re a looser fit and super comfortable. Some other reviews said to size down but I got my normal size and love it," one shopper said. "The fabric is water repellent so it does make that rain jacket sound when you walk, but it doesn’t bother me at all."
"I also love the adjustable cinch waistband. It helps keep them from falling down when I have things in the pockets," the reviewer added.
