Luisa Beccaria Puts Younger Spin on Her Whimsical Fashion for Spring 2025
There is almost a childlike romanticism to Luisa Beccaria, who continues to paint through fashion her idyllic vision of summers spent on the French or Italian Riviera.
She’s the type who would probably flee the urban frenzy to find solace in some under-the-radar spot, seasons before it goes mainstream — or viral.

For spring, her girls, younger and fresher than in recent collections, strode the cobbled flooring at Beccaria’s al fresco dining spot LúBar cafè in central Milan, with their stomachs exposed by finely tailored bralettes and bandeau tops used as day and nighttime top options, paired with matching full and pencil skirts.
They twirled in gingham sundresses and primrose frocks and donned macramé sets with pencil skirts matching a cape-like top, or strapless minidresses worn with a petite jacket, as if a summer night’s breeze was blowing over bucolic lavender fields.
Beccaria knows that many of her customers come to her atelier and flagship stores to find the perfect occasionwear.
Floral and ramage embroideries abounded on A-line gowns with poet sleeves; sequins, the color of a shimmering blush, dotted a halterneck dress with a long scarf tossed effortlessly around the neck, and veered turquoise and silver on slipdresses and cropped tops with floral appliqué, while brocade separates and shirtdresses were delicate enough to make for the perfect bridesmaid’s outfit.
If one thought some of the styles looked a bit passé, a glance at Beccaria’s daughters clad in their mom’s whimsical creations fitting their Millennial, carefree attitude, suggested they are, in fact, still perfect for today.
