Some lucky passengers took a fake flight to nowhere

Taking a flight to a faraway destination used to be regular way to travel but in the time of the coronavirus nothing is regular, and long-haul flights overseas are not an option for many.

That hasn't stopped some people in Taiwan from getting their fix.

Taipei's Songshan Airport began offering a flight experience where you do a health questionnaire, wear a mask, check in and board the plane, but the plane never actually off.

You simply sit on the plane for fun.

Apparently, 7,000 people applied for the chance of a fake flight but only 60 were chosen for the flight to nowhere.
