It's been a few days since Love Island's Hugo Hammond made *that* speech at the last recoupling. And, while we've been digesting all the drama, former Islander Sharon Gaffka has taken to socials to give her opinion on what's gone down.

For those who missed it, on Thursday's (July 22) episode, Toby Aromolaran chose to couple up with new bombshell Abigail Rawlings instead of his partner of two weeks Chloe Burrows. Hugo then had a major mic drop moment when he called Toby out for his behaviour in front of the whole villa, and the whole of the UK.

Speaking to her followers on Instagram in a Q&A session, Sharon (who was in a friendship couple with Hugo but dumped from the villa last week) waded in on the drama.

"So I don’t think Hugo was wrong for sticking up for Chloe," she told her fans "I knew he was going to pick Chloe, and I knew that he was gonna say something along those lines."

"I didn’t think he’d say it with as much chest, so that took me by surprise. Maybe he spent too much time coupled up in bed with me," she continued.

Sharon also called out how Hugo acted differently during the Toby, Chloe and Kaz Kamwi love triangle from earlier on in the season. She said: "One thing I don’t like about Hugo’s speech is that Hugo openly admitted to me that he enabled Chloe and Toby to crack on. And obviously, me being [friends] with Kaz, didn’t appreciate it at all because it was behind Kaz’s back."

"But what goes around comes around" she added, "If a guy is willing to do that to another girl to get with you, he’ll do that to you to get with another girl."

Sharon then went on to reveal she thinks Hugo wanted to couple up with Chloe all along. "I’ve said that Hugo will pick Chloe because I think Hugo has had feelings for Chloe since day one," she said, "And now I’m watching their pillow talk, and them having a little snuggle."

"'Why don’t you go with someone who will treat you nice.' I see you Mr Hammond, I see your game," she laughed.

Guess we'll have to wait and see if Sharon's right about Chugo...

Love Island continues tonight at 9pm on ITV2 and ITV Hub.
