The Love Island 2021 reunion was full of it's fair share of dramatic ups and downs, from Millie and Liam's awkward reunion with Lillie, to Jake Cornish's mystery absence, and Millie's hilarious return to playing the piano.
However, former Islander Shannon Singh, who left the villa after just 48 hours, turned out to be less than happy with the long-anticipated reunion episode, calling it a "waste of time".
Shannon took to her Instagram Stories to share her views on the reunion, adding that there was "no need" for her to be there, and revealing that she was going to bed rather than attending the afterparty.
She told followers, "Well guys, that was a fucking waste of time, but I went, Miss 48-hour gang," she said, referring to the short amount of time she spent in the villa. "So yeah, I'm gonna cuddle in bed with my Domino's and celebrate that Love Island is over."
"I ain't bitter, I'm glowing. But, yeah, what a waste of time. There was really no need for me to be there. But it was great seeing everyone," she continued.
Revealing that she wouldn't be continuing on to the post-reunion party, Shannon said, "I've got a few people asking me why I'm not going to the afterparty," sarcastically adding, "Bed and Domino's, or the Love Island afterparty... let me think."
The 23-year-old model followed up with a mirror selfie video showing off her sparkly gold reunion outfit, writing, "Giving my dress the airtime it deserves".
During the reunion, Shannon also posted a video alongside Georgia Townend, who stayed in the villa for just 24 hours, despite the pair never having been on the show at the same time, saying "48-hour gang, coming through".
Here's hoping the rest of the cast enjoyed themselves!
