As we lament the fact Love Island won't be happening this summer (BOO), let's be grateful that we managed to get a Winter Love Island this year at all. Praise be to ITV2 for the six weeks in South Africa, which granted us Paige Turley and Finn Tap, and Siannise Fudge and Luke Trotman.

Most recently, the former took part in an Reddit Q&A. And as well as answering questions about how they were getting on in isolation (the pair are quarantining together in Paige's family home), they were asked about their time in the Love Island villa.

Specifically, about a rumoured unaired fight.

One fan asked, “What happened between Demi and Alexi (Biggs from Casa Amor mentioned that apparently they had a fight in the villa)?"

To which Paige explained there were a limited number of beds available in the villa when the Casa Amor boys arrived, and Alexi Eraclides and Demi Jones had a bit of a tiff over who was sleeping where. "Demi and Alexi - the guys had a slight disagreement about sleeping arrangements…" she said (via Heat).

"It was nothing but a misunderstanding, however, we were tight for beds!"

The revelation comes as ITV announced Love Island would not be going ahead this summer. Kevin Lygo, Director of Television at ITV, said in a statement:

"We have tried every which way to make Love Island this summer but logistically it's just not possible to produce it in a way that safeguards the wellbeing of everyone involved and that for us is the priority. In normal circumstances we would be preparing very soon to travel out to the location in Mallorca to get the villa ready but clearly that’s now out of the question. We are very sorry for fans of the show but making it safely is our prime concern and Love Island will be back stronger than ever in 2021.”

Has anyone else just been watching reruns of the early seasons instead?
