Love Island's Megan Barton Hanson on Scott Disick's "mind-blowing" DMs
Scott Disick sliding into Love Island star Megan Barton Hanson's DMs is the 2020 story that keeps on giving and giving. The latest? The former Islander has said she couldn't believe Scott sent her such a "mind-blowing" message about ex Eyal Booker.
The internet blew up last Friday over Scott's messages to Megan accusing her of treating Eyal badly when she broke things off with him on the 2018 series. "To find you mugging him off and taking full advantage of his unbelievably beautiful sense of humour and vulnerability," Scott, who is dating the sister of Eyal's girlfriend, wrote to her. "I'm extremely disturbed that anybody could be so disrespectful to somebody for no good reason. I would like to know if you'd be willing to write him an apology."
Addressing Scott's messages this week, Megan told LIT Entertainment News, "Honestly, I didn’t know if it was a joke or if Eyal sent it himself, I didn’t know what the situation was.
"But it was mind-blowing that a 40-year-old guy was trying to troll a 20-something year old. I was like, 'what is wrong with you?'"
She said she was confused Scott used the term "mugged off", before adding "We looked at the time and my management were like, 'He must have sent this at like 5 a.m.'"
But Megan also admitted the whole situation was pretty funny, telling the hosts: "Just when you think 2020 couldn't get any weirder... what the hell has just happened?"
