Former Love Islander Liberty Poole has spilled the tea on what really went down with Hugo Hammond after he suggested she'd pulled him for a flirty chat in the villa.

To recap, after being dumped from the show, Hugo took to TikTok to claim that producers had cut a secret chat he had with Liberty. In the clip, he said: "When Lib pulls you for chats after Jakey wanted to get to know Millie but the show didn’t air it to protect Jiberty."

In the comments section, Hugo added, "I don’t actually know why it never got aired. But this is my assumption."

But Liberty decided to set the record straight, and addressed the topic in a Q&A on her Instagram Story. She said: "This 'intimate chat,' it was just literally me and Hugo sat down like, 'What do you do with yourself?' Blah blah blah."

She continued, "It was very just friends, there was no sexual chemistry between us and I love Hugo as a mate but that’s all the chat was."

In the video's caption, she wrote "All love for Hugo but we are just friends."

Liberty had been coupled up with Jake Cornish since the first episode of the series, and they made things official after a few weeks. But, the pair broke up just a few days before the final following the fall out from the Movie Night challenge.

Despite leaving the villa together, it doesn't look like Jiberty have plans to reconcile anytime soon.
