Love Island's Liberty Poole and Jake Cornish reportedly leave the villa tonight, 24 hours after their split.

Last night's episode [19 August] of Love Island saw the pair agree to go their separate ways, after Liberty told Jake, "I just don't feel like you love me for me and I want someone who loves me for me."

Jake replied, "What are we saying then, are we saying we'll go our separate ways then?"

The teaser for tonight's episode [20 August] saw Jake and Liberty on their big final date, sat on the front of a massive boat. The pair then return to the villa and ask their fellow Islanders to sit around the fire pit.

Now, a new report from MailOnline claims the former couple (or are they a couple again?) announce they're going to leave the villa, just days before the final.

"It was a really tough decision for the couple to make, but it felt like the right thing to do," a source said. "They'd given it their all on camera and wanted to let their friends in other couples have a chance at winning.

"Saying goodbye was emotional for all the Islanders, as they've become so close, like family, but it won't be long before they're all reunited. It's not 100 per cent over for Jake and Liberty, there are still a lot of feelings involved, so who knows what will happen in the future."

A Love Island spokesperson added, "We won't be commenting on speculation around tonight's episode. All will be revealed later."

Say it ain't so.
