Last night's Love Island dropped a bombshell (or two) in the form of new boys Chuggs Wallis and Liam Reardon.
While we can't wait to see how the latest additions shake things up, we're also *slightly* obsessed with the name Chuggs. And we're certainly not the only ones, as 'Chuggs' has been sporadically trending on Twitter all day.
We're also slightly losing it over the fact that the 23-year-old runs his own bucket hat company. If that's not niche enough, the company is called, 'Booby Buckets.' I mean, how have we never heard of this?
A little sleuthing on Booby Buckets' website reveals that Chuggs' real name is actually Oliver George Lee Wallis, or at least that's who the director of the company is listed as. We really need to know how he got that nickname...
Speaking before he headed into the villa, Chuggs said, "My mates would describe me as a solid mate. Everyone always comes to me for advice. I’m always the one organising things for everyone too. I put together the funnest nights out that we’ve had, hosting parties at home, pub crawls."
Sounds like he's pretty much the ideal Islander. And erm, guess what? Apparently some of the Islanders already know him! In scenes to be shown on tonight's episode (1 July), when one of the girls receives a text from Chuggs, Hugo says, "Oh my God. I know Chuggs," while Chloe adds, "Oh my god. So do I."
In terms of who he's got his eye on in the villa, Chuggs identified Liberty, Chloe and Faye from his first impressions, adding, "I’m excited to get to know people and just have social interaction, get to know these girls. I just want to have fun."
I mean, you're probably in the best place then, Chuggs.
Love Island continues tonight at 9pm on ITV2 and ITV Hub. New episodes are available the following morning on BritBox.
