Ever since the start of Love Island 2021, fans have been gagging to know when the Casa Amor stage of the show kicks off.

The cast of this year's Love Island have been criticised for their lack of chemistry, with Jake and Liberty being the only one of the original couples still together.

Which is probably why fans are so excited for the most dramatic period of the show to start.

Casa Amor sees the contestants in the villa separated into men and women, with one gender leaving the house to head to another villa. Each group are then joined by 10 new contestants, to see if they form stronger romantic bonds with someone other than the person they're coupled up with. Told you it was dramatic.

In previous years, Casa Amor gave us the iconic "Congrats, hun" line from Shaughna Phillips when Callum Jones recoupled with Molly Smith, and *that* showdown between Michael Griffiths and Amber Gill.

So, when is Casa Amor happening during Love Island 2021?

As The Independent pointed out, the segment usually takes place during the fourth week of the show. During season five, Casa Amor was introduced on day 28; in season four it was day 26.

Following this pattern (and taking into account Love Island 2021 kicked off on 28 June), we initially expected Casa Amor around the 23 - 26 July, which already seemed a little longer than we were hoping to wait.

However, according to The Sun producers are still putting the finishing touches to the building after reports last month claimed that the house still needed decorating and kitting out with filming equipment.

The good news is, show bosses are reportedly aiming for Casa Amor to be back and drama-filled by the end of July, meaning we hopefully haven't got too long to wait.
