The Love Island voting stats from the final are so revealing
Love Island 2023 came to an end on last night [13th March 2023] when Sanam Harrinanan and Kai Fagan were crowned king and queen of the villa. Now, the voting stats from the final have been revealed, and it's safe to say they won by a landslide.
After eight weeks of laughs, tears and coupling up, Love Island is officially over for another series, after producing four new couples for fans to obsessed over: Sanam and Kai, Lana Jenkins and Ron Hall, Shaq Muhammed and Tanya Manhenga and Tom Clare and Sami Elishi.
During Monday's live final, viewers were asked to vote for their favourite couple, who would be named winners of winter Love Island 2023. Eventually, Shaq and Tanya came in fourth place, Tom and Sami in third, Lana and Ro as runners up, and Sanam and Kai as the winners.
Now, ITV have released the voting figures from the final, and it's safe to say the pair were miles ahead:
Sanam Harrinanan and Kai Fagan - 44%
Lana Jenkins and Ron Hall - 30%
Tom Clare and Sami Elishi - 24%
Shaq Muhammed and Tanya Manhenga - 2%
ITV revealed 800k votes were cast in the final; 343,241 of these going to Kai and Sanam, while Ron and Lana had 235,996 votes, Tom and Samie had 185,572 and Shaq and Tanya received 19,753.
We are SO happy Kai and Sanam were named the winners. Honestly, not going to lie, we're obsessed with these two.
