Love Island's Tom Clare has sent fans into a bit of a spin with a recent Instagram post that had many speculating he might have asked Molly Smith to marry him.

The loved-up winners of Love Island All Stars were soaking up the sun on their Maldives getaway when Tom, 24, shared an adorable mirror selfie. In the pic, his arm is wrapped around Molly's waist, both showing off glowing holiday tans, and he cheekily captioned it "Wifey."

Since winning hearts on the show and leaving the villa, Tom and Molly have gone from strength to strength, having moved into a shared home. Hailing from Barnsley, Tom made the big move to be closer to Molly in Manchester.

The sweethearts spilled the tea about their living situation on Love Island: After Sun with Maya Jama playing detective. When asked if they'd shacked up, Tom confirmed with a simple: "Moved in, yeah."

Molly explained the natural progression, saying: "It started off with just a drawer [at my place] and then slowly but surely there were more and more things coming in", reports the Mirror.

Maya, digging for some dirt, enquired if Tom was a bit of a mess around the house, but Molly came to his defence, assuring Maya: "No he's actually not, yeah. He's actually really clean."

To put a cherry on top, last month saw Tom penning a touching message to Molly for her birthday, leaving us with no doubt that he's totally smitten.

He couldn't help but gush: "Going back on to Love Island I didn't think I'd meet anyone but I found exactly that, you're everything I want in a girl. Beautiful, honest, trustworthy, classy, the list could go on. I'm so glad I met you and can't wait for our future together, I love your family and my family adore you which is huge for me."

He continued: "We're always none stop laughing and making memories to last a lifetime which is what it's all about. I'm so proud of you and everything you're doing you honestly deserve the world, I'm your biggest supporter and I know you are mine. I'll protect you. You make me the happiest man alive, you're special, never change, I love you."

However, one person who seems to be slightly sceptical about their relationship's longevity is former All-Stars co-star Georgia Steel, who had a brief fling with Tom before the show.

Georgia was known during that series for her brutal honesty and her knack for stirring up drama. When asked in an interview with Tyla if she thought the couple would last, she responded: "I'd like to think so. I hope so. I feel like Molly definitely really wants to settle down and meet someone. I definitely think that. She's a little bit older than me, so I can totally understand. I think she'll want to make it work with Tom, so hopefully they carry on."
