The 2024 series of Love Island continues and a new boy is about to spice up the villa as he takes on girl on a date.

Newcomer Omar Nyame, 25, goes on a date with Mimii Ngulube who was left single in the latest recoupling on Friday 6 June. In the latest episode, Mimii heads outside of the villa to meet Omar - and when Mimii discovers he’s a PE teacher, is left impressed.

Mimii says: “Are you? So, you’re good with kids?”

Omar replied: “Listen, I’ve been building myself up for the future so I can be a real great dad.”

The pair really even closer when Omar asks what Mimii’s ‘type’ is and she tells him: “You very much fit my type. Tall, handsome, pretty boy. That’s all me.”

Whilst Omar and Mimii’s spark grows - another couple are left in trouble despite recoupling together on Friday.

Jess White confronts Ronnie Vint after he said his ‘eyes have been opened’ by another girl in the villa. As the pair leave the firepit, Jess says to Ronnie: Poor choice of words, Ron. I don’t think you said one nice thing about me. You don’t need to go about it that way.”

Ronnie apologises but still gets to know Harriet Blackmore and tells her: “Everything I said was honest - it just came out wrong. I do think there is something there from when we’ve spoke. I do want to see what’s happening with that.”

Meanwhile, Ciaran Davies and Nicole Samuel are thrilled when they go on their first date and head to the beach.

When talk turns to family, Nicole asks whether his mum would like her. Ciaran confirms his mum would be over the moon as his mum told him to ‘get with a Welsh girl’.

Drama brews during a pre-loved red party where the Islanders play a game of dares. Sean Stone sees this as an opportunity to get closer to Jess.

But all eyes are on Ayo Odukoya when it comes to his dare which read: 'Snog the Islander you think is 100% your type on papers'. After ending up in a couple with Uma Jammeh, but expressing he’s still interested in pursuing things with Mimi, who will he choose?
