Should Love Island producers let Megan Barton Hanson know THIS has happened?
Sad news - Megan Barton Hanson’s dog, Pumpkin, has passed away from stomach cancer while she’s still on Love Island, and as of yet, she has no idea.
The Sun reports that the Meg’s beloved Pomeranian had to be put to sleep after she had a stomach haemorrhage.
It doesn’t sound like Meg knew that Pumpkin was poorly when she went into the villa, so it’s going to be a real shock for her when she comes out.
A source told Sun Online: "Megan will be devastated when she comes out and hears the news about her little Pumpkin.
"She brought her from a Pomeranian breeder when she was just eight-weeks-old.
"Pumpkin was Megan’s little baby and no doubt it will be a huge blow for her to find out what has happened.”
There’s only a week left of this year’s series, so Megan will find out the sad news soon.
The news comes as Megan and Wes Nelson get closer and closer on the show.
They’re now settled as boyfriend and girlfriend and seem more loved up than ever.
The paid have said the L word to each other and Wes said to Megan earlier this week: "We're boyfriend and girlfriend now so whatever happens in here is technically irrelevant.
"Obviously I'd love to go the distance. We've got to where we are for a reason and it's worked out.”
We’re sure that Wes will be there for her with a shoulder to cry on when she founds out the sad news.
