Love Island's Laura Whitmore dubs £24 illuminator drops her favourite beauty product

Last night’s Love Island final saw the public crown Paige Turley (Lewis Capaldi’s ex-girlfriend) and footballer Finley Tapp the winners of 2020’s winter series.
However, we think the show’s real winner was its host, Laura Whitmore, who won over the hearts of the nation with her charm, wit and down-to-earth brand of presenting. Whitmore replaced the late Caroline Flack as the presenter of the series, in January 2020.
Now, there are lots of things about Laura Whitmore’s life that are, sadly, out of our reach: a job that means we can fly business class to South Africa, for example, or a glam team that help us look and feel our best, but there is one thing that we can get our hands on: her radiant glow.
The TV and radio host recently uploaded a video to her Instagram entitled where she discussed the beauty products she had been using during the filming of the cult ITV show.
The video focused on beauty brand Iconic London, who Laura has partnered with for the main Love Island and Love Island After Sun shows, with the blonde host talking through her most used products from the range.
However, the product she called her “favourite” were the £24 Iconic Illuminator Drops, available from Feel Unique.
Talking viewers through how to use the drops, which she owns in shade ‘original’, she explained that they are a brilliant way to highlight your cheekbones and collarbone “if you’re wearing a low top”.
“It’s good isn’t it?” she asked fans as she dabbed the product on with her fingers. “It really catches the light.”

She went on to explain that the product looks really good “in daylight as well as under studio lights”, which is great news for the 99.99% of us who will never step foot in a TV studio (sob).
Laura, whose boyfriend is Love Island narrator Iain Stirling, also used the product to help define her lips, her brow line and add definition to her nose.
And to complete the look, her longtime makeup artist Tori Ball recently revealed that she uses the Charlotte Tilbury Light Wonder Foundation to help give the star her flawless complexion.
We might not be heading for a sunshine-filled break in South Africa anytime soon, but we’re well on our way to glowing, holiday-skin.
