Last night's episode of Love Island has sparked some *serious* Twitter investigation from viewers after the teaser for tonight's show hinted that contestants Gemma Owen and Luca Bish could already be on the rocks.

During the first row of the series, Gemma calls Luca a "p***k", and things seem to become pretty heated between the pair. And already, eagle-eyed fans think they might know why.

ICYMI, two new arrivals are set to step foot into the villa, which means there could be even more trouble in paradise - and it comes just days after 19-year-old Owen's ex-boyfriend Jacques O'Neill joined the cast. While it seemed Luca was worried at first about what that meant for his and Gemma's relationship, there doesn't seem to be any scope that Owen and O'Neill will reunite.

But, according to last night's show, the fire pit is set to be the backdrop for a major disagreement between the new couple, and while details have been kept under wraps for now, fans watched Gemma admit to a "mistake".

So naturally, it didn't take long for viewers to flock to social media to solve the case, with one user writing: "nah i’m crying gemma might of actually called Luca Jacques by mistake #LoveIsland", while another said: "gemma has 10000% called Luca by Jacques name or some shit. petty but i’m ready for it #loveisland."

Other fans also had the same idea, as one user typed: "Omg did Gemma call Luca… Jacques maybe ?!?? #loveisland", and another added: "Putting my money on it now that Gemma calls Luca "Jacques" & that's why he's in a mood #loveisland."

While the jury is still out on whether this is, in fact, the truth, it won't take very long for us to find out. Love Island is on tonight at 9pm on ITV2.
