Love Island fans all say same thing about Ekin-Su and Nathalia
This summer, Love Island has had us well and truly obsessed. Seriously, the drama this year has been unparalleled. From de facto main character Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu and her hilarious on-screen presence to a slate of unforgettable bombshells ramping up the intrigue week after week.
Most recently, fans have watched some serious chaos unfold after four newbies arrived to the villa on Wednesday: girls Nathalia Campos and Lacey Edwards and boys Jamie Allen and Reece Ford.
Drama ensued on Friday night (22 July) after 23-year-old Brazilian content creator Nathalia set her sighs on Davide Sanclimenti, Ekin-Su's partner within the villa. After some tense words were exchanged between Ekin-Su and Nathalia during a group discussion about pizza (yes, pizza), Ekin-Su called Nathalia out for her stand-offish tone, which led to Nathalia branding Ekin-Su "Ekin-Who".
The confrontation led to some awkward moments in the villa which the two women decided to work out in unconventional style: with a bake-off to see who could make the best banana pancakes. Taking it surprisingly seriously, the whole cast got in on the action, watching the contest progress in the kitchen and with some even opting to provide commentary or act as "managers" giving out drinks and words of encouragement to the two women.
Ultimately, Ekin-Su emerged victorious with Davide choosing her pancakes as the best in a blind taste test and, regardless of the outcome of the contest, Twitter had a lot to say about the disagreements in the episode. Fans of the show were sharing their opinions on the disagreement between Ekin-Su and Nathalia, with many coming out in favour of Ekin-Su and claiming that Nathalia had attempted to embarrass Ekin-Su in front of male islanders.

Others pointed out that Nathalia's dismissive behaviour towards Ekin-Su seems misplaced, particularly since Ekin-Su has proven herself to be a strong fan favourite.
