The Love Island final is officially upon us, but fans have all been taking to social media with the same complaint.

After eight weeks of coupling up and pieing off, the king and queen of Love Island 2020 will be crowned on 1st August 2022, during the live final in Mallorca. And while fans are over the moon to see Indiyah and Dami, Tasha and Andrew, Gemma and Luca and Davide and Ekin-Su make it to the final four, they do have a bone to pick with ITV2.

Because despite tuning into the Love Island final to sob tears of joy at the finalists' speeches - and watch the attempts at Latin dancing - so far, the show has just been full of advert breaks.

As one person put it, "Only 20 past and already two ad breaks," while another put, "Two breaks in 20 minutes they’re really gonna milk it tonight." Someone else put, "Taking the piss with these ad breaks only back from a break at 9:15 and 9:21 we’re on the second one."

Other viewers wrote: "They’re really throwing in them breaks today" and "An advert break after just ten minutes?!"

C'mon guys, we just want to know what happens!

Earlier in the episode, host Laura Whitmore revealed they would also be changing the 'share or steal' format of the final, which usually sees the winning couple have to choose between love or money when awarded the £50k prize money. Eek.
