Love Island fans react to Lucinda swerving Aaron

·2-min read

*Spoilers ahead*

Tonight's Love Island had it all, from Sharon being dramatically dumped from the villa, to *that* fiery exchange between Aaron Francis and the latest bombshell, Danny Bibby.

However, the stand-out moment was Aaron getting categorically swerved by Lucinda Strafford. I mean, fair play to him for trying but this was brutal.

After Danny chose to couple up with Lucinda, who was previously coupled up with Aaron, the latter pulled Lucinda for a chat on the bean bag to discuss their situation. It all went downhill from there.

It started with Aaron admitting,"Honestly, if I was rude I'd kiss you right now in front of [Danny]." When Lucinda asked, "Are you like that?", he replied, "Yeah, why not?" and began making his way to kiss her.

After Lucinda ~ swerved ~ the kiss, she asked Aaron, "Are you having a laugh?" And while, Aaron may not be laughing, the rest of Twitter was in absolute bits.

Author Bolu Babalola tweeted, "What made Aaron think he has the sauce to pull this off? You know what? The confidence is almost inspiring," while another person tweeted, "AARON ARE YOU NOT EMBARRASSED!!??? she fully swerved."

As Aaron said in the Beach Hut afterwards, "You gotta back yourself, you gotta go for it."

Love Island continues tomorrow on ITV2 and ITVHub tonight at 9pm.
