Love Island fans are pointing out the contradiction in Luca's behaviour

Love Island fans took to social media last night [26 July] to point out the contradiction in Luca Bish's behaviour, after he reacted in exactly the same way that he told Tasha Ghouri not to behave.

Cast your minds back to the Snog, Marry, Pie challenge, and you might remember Luca apologising to Tasha over pieing her in the challenge, telling her it was "just a game" so she shouldn't get upset.

Last night, though, he ended up annoyed at partner Gemma Owen over her behaviour in the Mile High Challenge, after she licked Adam Collard's neck while 'buckling up' the boys.

"You can sit here and say you're not in a mood, you are in a mood," Gemma said to him when they were back in the villa. "When I came up to you in the challenge, you pushed me off."

Luca replied that he "didn’t like what he saw", adding "what guy is gonna like that?" before throwing off his mic and storming out of the villa.

Fans on Twitter have questioned the inconsistency in Luca's behaviour, considering the fact he told Tasha not to get upset over a challenge, and is now getting upset himself. As one fan put it, "So when Tasha was crying because of a challenge Luca was telling her 'it’s just a challenge' YET he is sulking BECAUSE of the challenge??? My brain is not braining #LoveIsland"

Someone else put, "Luca is pissing me off. like seriously how many times did you tell Tasha “it was just a challenge” WHEN SHE WAS CRYING. #loveisland"

We have no doubt the Love Island villa is an incredibly intense environment, and contestants should feel like they're able to show their emotions. With that said, maybe they should all show each other a little more empathy when it comes to getting upset, eh?

Love Island continues on ITV2 at 9pm.
