Love Island 2022 has been full of chaotic energy, from Davide Sanclimenti's hilarious one liners to Andrew Le Page's sneaky sexual admission. Now, producers are officially turning it up a notch, thanks to the return of none other than Adam Collard. To say Twitter is losing it over the news would be an understatement.
Cast your mind back to 2018, and you might remember Adam wreaked havoc in the Love Island villa after initially coupling up with Kendall Rae Knight, before later pairing up with Rosie Williams, and ditching her to recouple with Zara McDermott.
Despite leaving the show half way through the season, it's fair to say Adam left quite the impression on the 2018 villa - and has plans to do the same thing this time around. "I’m going to ruffle a few feathers when I go in," the star said in his intro interview, something which had quite the reaction from fans on Twitter.
As one put it, "THE FOUNDER OF DESTINY CHALDISH IS BACK #LoveIsland," while another said, "NOT ADAM THE MENACE NOOOOOO LOVE ISLAND PRODUCERS DESERVE A RAISE #LoveIsland"
Someone else put, "That is the biggest twist of Love Island I’ve ever seen #loveisland."

Other viewers were less than impressed by Adam's return though, pointing out that Women's Aid issued a statement about his behaviour back in 2018, cautioning of "clear warning signs" of "gaslighting and emotional abuse".
