How new Love Island contestant Ellie knows Adam
Charlie and Hayley's dumping from the Love Island villa wasn't the only big thing to happen in Friday night's show; there was also the announcement of two new arrivals.
Just before the episode ended, we were treated to a sneak peak of the two latest contestants that'll be added to the lineup: 20-year-old Ellie from Newcastle and 21-year-old Zara, a government advisor from Essex.
We all know how the new arrival thing goes down. The existing islanders get anxious, their feathers get ruffled in fear of being ousted by a newbie, and the territorial vibes are all very entertaining to watch. But when we see Ellie and Zara enter the villa on Sunday night's show, it'll probably be a bit more awkward than normal. Because that won't have been the first time Ellie and Adam have met each other...
The particularly observant among you might notice that both Ellie and Adam are from Newcastle, and the connection doesn't end there. According to The Sun, new islander Ellie Brown is best friends with Adam's ex-girlfriend, Claudia Proctor. And let's put it this way, it doesn't sound as if things ended particularly amicably between the pair, so Ellie might just have an axe to grind.
A source told the newspaper: "I can imagine it's going to get very heated in there. Ellie's angry about how Adam broke it off with Claudia.
"She's not happy about him blaming her friend's insecurities as his reasons for dumping her, so will definitely pull him up about that from the off."

Oh man, things are going to get grisly.
According to the insider, Ellie and Adam aren't just passing acquaintances either. They apparently know each other "really well" thanks to Claudia, which means Ellie is "not going to hold back".
"Things could be very tense in there," the insider revealed. "I think she'll be upfront about telling him how he's coming across on the outside because so far he hasn't treated the girls very nicely in there."
No, no he has not. This is going to be one excruciatingly brilliant episode.
