Love is Blind couple Demi and Ollie didn’t end up together at the end of the Netflix series hosted by Emma and Matt Willis, but it turns out that Ollie has since been seeing another of the contestants on the dating show. Fans of the UK version of the series were gripped as Demi and Ollie tried to make their relationship work after becoming engaged before having met each other face to face, but it wasn’t to be as Demi decided not to go through with their wedding at the end.

The pair sat apart from each other during the reunion episode, and Demi said about her former fiance: “He’s a good guy, but he’s not my guy.” Then Emma Willis pointed out that Ollie had noticed Sharlotte at the mixer party in London that took place before the weddings, and asked him whether they were now dating. Sharlotte, who was in the audience, said they had been spending time together, and added “we’re in a good spot". Ollie, meanwhile, commented to the hosts: “It’s hard to deny the connection we had, and the attraction we had for each other. Watch this space.”

In an exclusive interview with OK! before the wedding and reunion episodes were broadcast, Demi, who has remained friends with Ollie, talked about how his heartfelt reaction to her discussing her endometriosis diagnosis while they were blind dating meant a lot to her. “I couldn’t say the word ‘endometriosis’ at the start of the show, I would just break down,” she said. “I thought some guys are not going to want to get involved with that, I had such a negative mindset around it and I am thankful for the show as I felt I could be myself and now it carries no weight.” She said being able to tell Ollie about it without seeing his face made it easier to deal with. “I feel not being able to see his reaction allowed me the space to process what I was saying without focusing on someone’s body language, so it gave me a sense of comfort whereas in the past it was not a conversation I wanted to have with someone I am dating.”

She also hoped that her honesty would help people with the same condition who have watched the show. “If I could go back to my teens and see a woman speaking their truth and being okay with endometriosis, that you don’t have to be negative about it, then I feel like that would have helped me at a time of need, so I hope now that some little Demi is watching and thinking it is going to be alright," she added.
