Earlier this week, Louise Thompson from Made In Chelsea has posted a happy Instagram photo to reveal she's pregnant with Ryan Libbey's baby, two months on from sharing the sad news of her miscarriage.
Along with a picture of the pair holding their 12-week baby scan, Louise shared a lengthy caption explaining how her first trimester had gone, adding that they were
"🌈 Counting our blessings 🌈".
"I’d be lying if I said it’s been an easy ride but the truth is I think poor Ryan has found it even harder than I have," Louise continued. "I’m definitely lucky to have such a sensitive partner and I feel safe in the knowledge that you are going to be the best dad in the world."
Now, Louise is opening up about how she's finding pregnancy and has shared with fans that she's experiencing hair loss.
In a series of Instagram stories Louise said that: "Contrary to what everybody else seems to be saying about it growing really luscious and thick and shiny… [my hair] is definitely falling out. And everyone says that their hair doesn’t fall out when they’re pregnant."
It seems Louise is noticing the hair loss specifically around her hair line, writing: "It’s definitely receding at a rapido pace" on one of her stories.
Elaborating in a video, Louise explained her hairline has been an insecurity of hers since her 20s.
"This has been a problem area of mine for years, then I stopped worrying about it. To be honest, I’m not overly worried about it now but it’s definitely receding," she said.
She pointed out a mole high on her forehead, adding: "I can usually measure my hairline by the mole and I feel it’s gone back by about a centimetre."
Louise then speculated: "Surely hormones could be to blame" before adding that she's not sweating the small stuff during her pregnancy.
"I guess you win some you lose some," she said.
Over on her main Insta grid, Louise has treated fans to further insight into her pregnancy, sharing some lovely pics of her growing bump.
In some of the front on images, it can't really be seen, but from the side it's pretty prominent. Louise took the opportunity to remind her followers that "angles are the ultimate optical illusion."
We love Louise for keeping it real with her followers as she continues on her pregnancy journey, and helping to normalise a less common side effect of carrying a tiny human.
