  • Louise Redknapp has credited running for helping her during lockdown.

  • Like many others, Redknapp has taken up running during the third coronavirus lockdown.

Singer-songwriter, Louise Redknapp has credited running for helping her get through the coronavirus lockdown. Taking to her Instagram stories on Monday night, Redknapp said, 'Went for a little run in the snow today. It's def helping me through lockdown.'

In a post earlier in the month, Redknapp told her followers, 'I’m definitely struggling at the moment so just wanted to say let’s all try and stick together, stay strong, stay positive and please remember your not alone there is always someone to talk to! Lots of love xxx'

Like many others, Redknapp has taken up running during the national lockdown. A study conducted by Asics following the first national lockdown last April found that out of the 14,000 runners questioned, 78% of the runners said being active during the pandemic made them feel ‘more sane and in control’. 82% of UK runners said running played a key role in helping them clear their mind during lockdown.
