Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones are one of the most powerful couples in Hollywood and and the 'Basic Instinct' actor fell in love with the Welsh actress from the moment he saw her in action movie 'The Mask of Zorro'. They met in 1996 at the Deauville Film Festival when Michael was promoting 'A Perfect Murder' and Catherine was promoting 'Zorro'. Once there media duties were complete, they shared a drink. Michael recalled: "I met her in the bar and was a total gentleman. "I said to her after about half an hour, 'You know, I'm going to be the father of your children.'"

John Travolta was married to Kelly Preston from 1991 until her tragic passing in July 2020 at the age of 57. She had been living with breast cancer. They met on the set of their film 'The Experts', when Kelly was still wed to actor Kevin Gage. Kelly admitted it was "kinda" love at first sight between her and the 'Grease' actor. When Kelly and Kevin divorced in 1987 it was time for the pair to date. Remembering that time in her life, Kelly said: "I was not that happily married, let's put it that way. "I was really with the wrong person."

Victoria Beckham assured her fans that love at first sight is a real thing when she wrote a letter to her younger self entitled What I Wish I'd Known for Vogue magazine. Remembering the moment she first laid eyes on David after he had just completed a soccer match for Manchester United, she wrote: "Yes, love at first sight does exist.
