Lorraine Kelly has shared her excitement about her dog Angus meeting new puppy Ruby very soon!

The presenter, who's mum to Border Terrier Angus, is also grandma to sausage dog Ruby, a new addition to the family and who belongs to her daughter Rosie.

Lorraine posted an absurdly cute picture of the tiny pooch to her Instagram on Tuesday (25 May), showing Ruby's first visit to the vet.

"Wee brave @rubyisasausage had her jab today," Lorraine wrote. "She was very good and now she can meet Angus"

Rosie had originally posted the snap, with Lorrraine commenting, "The wee mite!"

We can't wait until the pair have a meet up - we're fully prepared for the cuteness overload.

Cute little wire-haired miniature Dachschund was adopted by Lorraine's daughter Rosie Kelly-Smith earlier this month, with the pooch's Instagram account already racking up almost 16,000 followers.

On one of Ruby's first posts, Rosie wrote, "The face of one loved pup! Blown away by all the kind words on little Ruby’s arrival. She’s been an utter angel so far, just napping for the four hour drive home and holding in a wee until London.

"She’s in love with her crate and only woke up in the night with her tail wagging wanting to play, and is really settled and playful already."

We think Ruby and Angus will get on like a (very cute) house on fire.
