Lorraine Kelly has posted a birthday tribute to her daughter Rosie Kelly Smith on Instagram with a throwback pic.

The ITV presenter shared a snap of Rosie and both her parents celebrating her 21st birthday in a restaurant, as the trio enjoying a glass of fizz together.

“This was SIX years ago when she turned 21 – happy times!” wrote Lorraine alongside the photo, as though she couldn’t quite believe the time had gone so quickly.

Lorraine and Rosie spent the weekend in the Cotswolds celebrating and brought sausage dog Ruby along for her first UK staycation in a hotel.

Rosie revealed it was the first time she had been to the Cotswolds and shared a video of her “amazing stay”.

The mother and daughter duo appear to be very close and even now work on multiple projects together. The pair have their own podcast, What If? and are part of the new line-up for the latest series of Celebrity Gogglebox, along with puppy Ruby.

Both frequently share updates about how Ruby is settling into the family, as well as how she is getting on with “uncle Angus”, Lorraine’s terrier.
