Lorraine Kelly rarely shares photos of her family on social media, but posted a lovely snap with her mum for a trip home to Glasgow this weekend.

The 60-year-old presenter enjoyed a day out with her mum, Anne and her mum’s friend Betty in The Ivy.

“Ladies who lunch - me and my lovely mum and her pal Betty at The Ivy in Glasgow - fabulous grub and top service!” she posted to Instagram.

She looks just like her mum, too!

Fans are loving the photo too with one commenting: “Aww lovely. You are so like your mama.”

While another added: “You can see where you get your beauty from.”

The presenter shared a rare photo of her parents last summer or their 60th anniversary.

“Happy 60th diamond anniversary to my mum and dad! Looking good. Thanks for everything,” she wrote at the time.

Lorraine recently opened up about her miscarriage experience in 2001, when her daughter Rosie was just five.

Appearing on the Happy Mum Happy Baby podcast with host Giovanna Fletcher, Lorraine said: “That was a really difficult time and I think yes of course we should absolutely sympathise with the women who go through this but nobody asked after Steve [Lorraine’s husband].”

"I think we’ve got to be a bit more considerate about everyone and not just partners but extended family,” the TV host added.
