TV star Lorraine Kelly has admitted that she doesn’t think she has another lockdown in her.

Earlier this week it was confirmed that Kelly’s ITV show had sparked more than 3,700 complaints to broadcasting watchdog Ofcom over a discussion between the host and Dr Hilary about the number of unvaccinated people currently in hospital.

During the episode (which aired on 6 December), the pair encouraged viewers to have their COVID jab, with Dr Hilary saying that “90% of people in hospital are unvaccinated right now with COVID”.

Presenter Kelly responded: “That’s a figure that we have to really concentrate on, 90% of people in hospital have not been vaccinated.”

However, fact-checking organisation Full Fact later looked into the numbers of people in hospital and has said that the figure was “more like 36%”.

A message on its website said: "The true figure is more like 36%. However there are signs that unvaccinated people are the majority in intensive care."
