While on the beach in the Caribbean, Durán donned a number of stunning swimwear looks inspired by a vintage, laid back surfer aesthetic. From playful patterns to colorful prints, the 30-year-old sported itty-bitty bikinis and dazzling cut-out one-pieces.
It appears that Watts is reminiscing on their work together, as he shared a trio of never-before-seen Instagram photos of the model on Oct. 26. The film snaps captured Durán’s profile as she knelt in the sand near the surf in a colorful crochet two-piece swimsuit by It’s Now Cool.
“Film 🎞️ @imlorenaduran x @si_swimsuit @mj_day @bryanzaragoza_ @anthonycristianosalon @margotzamet @cindiblairproductions #puertorico #benwatts #siswim,” he wrote in his caption. In addition to crediting the model, Watts shouted out the magazine’s editor in chief MJ Day and fashion editor Margot Zamet, in addition to makeup artist Bryan Zaragoza, hairstylist Anthony Cristiano and producer Cindi Blair.
“😍😍 omg,” Durán commented in reaction to the trio of stunning photographs.
“Wow 🙌,” Swim Search co-winner and 2024 rookie Sharina Gutierrez added.
“Beautiful 😍,” model Alexina Graham gushed.
Durán, who is known for being the first curve model to work with Victoria’s Secret, first posed for the SI Swimsuit Issue in 2020, when she posed in front of Josie Clough’s lens on Scrub Island. She returned to the fold last year and traveled to Montenegro with James Macari.
