Loose Women panelist Nadia Sawalha has reacted to talent rep Melanie Blake's public attack on her.

Melanie works at Urban Associates, which has fellow Loose Women stars Coleen Nolan and Saira Khan on its books, but she recently hit out at Nadia on social media following her body positivity related messages.

"It's a shame she 'officially' gave up acting because Nadia deserves an Oscar for this speech. In 20 years of repping clients, I never saw a nastier side to anyone than I did her and I'm not alone," she wrote on Twitter.

"Her constant 'be kind' speeches are so ironic considering she is a total witch."

Choosing not to directly reference Melanie's words, Nadia instead thanked her fanbase for their continued support.

"I haven't had the best couple of days, but not every day can be the best day, can it?" she mused in a video posted to her social media.

"I just wanted to say a really big thank you to my friends and my colleagues; the strangers, the followers, the subscribers that have messaged me both privately and on here [Twitter]."

The 55-year-old further noted: "You've absolutely warmed my heart and left me finishing my day remembering that there are so many more good people than bad people, and in my experience, most people that seem bad are usually just quite sad.

"So, thank you so much. I really, really appreciate it."

Loose Woman airs weekdays at 12:30pm on ITV.
