Loose Women's Kaye Adams celebrates her 60th birthday
Loose Women star Kaye Adams has been celebrating her 60th birthday and was treated to a special cake from her co-star.
Taking to Instagram, Kaye shared a photo of her Loose Women birthday cake alongside the caption: "Thank you to everyone at @loosewomen for making my birthday episode such a lovely one!
"If I knew 60 felt this good I wouldn't have moaned about it so much! Goal for this year: Get butt cheeks as good as cake me! Time to get back to those squats."
Kaye joined the panel on Wednesday's episode of the ITV chat show (28 December), to mark the landmark occasion. During the show, Kaye confessed to lying to her now-adult daughter Charley about her age when she was a child.
"You really had a serious block about admitting how old you were to the point your kids thought you were 10 years younger," Kaye's fellow panellist Coleen Nolan pointed out, to which Kaye replied: "I was an older mum and felt a bit embarrassed with the younger mums at the school gates."
Kaye said she did eventually tell her daughter the truth, adding: "But I took her to a café after school and told her mummy was 10 years older than I'd told her. I know it was bonkers, it was stupid."
Kaye was the first contestant to be eliminated from this year's season of Strictly Come Dancing.
Loose Women airs on weekdays at 12.30pm on ITV1.
