For those of you missing your daily Loose Women fix, and getting by on the current re-runs being shown on ITV, we have very good news... The ladies are back today!

Filming from their homes to follow the current social distancing guidelines, Christine Lampard, Brenda Edwards, Stacey Solomon and Nadia Sawalha have recorded a very special episode of the show.

It will be broadcast at 12.3opm as part of a whole day of programming on ITV, specially made to thank NHS frontline workers.

There will be themed content across the channel's daytime shows, including Good Morning Britain, Lorraine, This Morning and, of course, Loose Women.

Dotted amongst the programming, viewers will hear stories from Covid-19 survivors and their families, sharing their gratitude to the NHS.

The long day of special programming will also include the weekly Clap for our Carers 'Pause for Applause' at 8pm.

ITV's special NHS day is part of a partnership with NHS Charities Together. There will be appeals throughout the day, encouraging viewers to donate, and to film and send in messages of love and support to NHS staff.

You'll get to enjoy your favourite shows and get a peak inside some of the stars' homes, while also showing your gratitude to our brave and resilient frontline staff as they work tirelessly for our safety.

Clare Phillips Director of Social Purpose at ITV said of the day and the campaign: "This appeal is a vital way of helping people who work for the NHS when they need it the most. We’re delighted to partner with NHS Charities Together and put ITV’s full weight behind a campaign that will give back to the heroic NHS staff. I’m incredibly proud that we've been able to put this together and play our part in helping the NHS in this difficult time."

Emma Gormley, Managing Director, ITV Daytime added: "Like everyone else in the country we want to say a massive thank you to our NHS heroes. We look forward to a day of extra special programmes in celebration and gratitude for our amazing NHS staff and all they continue to do for us."

It's sure to be a memorable day of TV, and with such a great purpose.

The Loose Women special airs on ITV at 12.30pm on Thursday, 16 April.
