Loose Women stars mark 25th anniversary with glam silver themed portrait - but one famous face is missing
Loose Women has celebrated its 25th year on air with a new silver jubilee-inspired portrait featuring 18 of the show's panellists for the first time. From stars such as Coleen Nolan and Ruth Langsford to Olivia Attwood and Frankie Bridge in the picture, it was the perfect opportunity to bring together the show's veterans and new additions.
However, Stacey Solomon was noticeably missing from the image, despite previously appearing on the show numerous times. However, the star hasn't been on the panel recently and is having a career shake-up, a source recently told OK!.
Four panellists from the show's launch in 1999 were featured in the new picture, including Ruth, Jane Moore, Kaye Adams and Nadia Sawalha. Janet Street-Porter, Linda Robson, Denise Welch, Brenda Edwards, Christine Lampard, Judi Love, Katie Piper, Kelle Bryan, Dame Kelly Holmes, Charlene White, and Sunetra Sarker were also in the snap.

The panellists all beamed as they looked stunning in different variations and styles of silver dresses. Loose Women editor Sally Shelford said: "Over the last 25 years, Loose Women has tackled taboos and talked about issues not openly discussed on television, including domestic abuse, menopause, miscarriage and grief. Our incredible audience in the studio and at home have always been the fifth Loose Woman, and we promise to keep talking, sharing and shining a light on important subjects like these for our amazing viewers."
Stacey's absence comes as she hasn't been seen on the show since the tail end of 2022, and it appears her being missing from the picture suggests that the star won't be returning anytime soon.
This comes after a source told OK! that between juggling her TV career, five kids and relationship with husband Joe Swash, something had to give for Stacey - and it was her collaboration with clothing line In The Style which she had to say goodbye to.
Stacey, whose last edit has just landed, shared an emotional announcement on Instagram Stories with her fans as she revealed she was stepping back from her much-loved role, explaining that she had shot her "last ever" collection with the brand - after launching her first collection in 2021.
A source tells us that Stacey, who shot to fame on the X Factor in 2009, was torn about the move, and leaving the brand she loved was an ‘agonising’ decision leading to its fair share of tears. “Stacey was really torn about leaving In The Style - the team felt like family to her and there were a lot of tears as she finally said goodbye," the source claimed. "She felt really guilty for leaving, too, as she hates letting people down but she had to put her family first.”
They added, “She and Joe had to do what was best for them. And although it was a great gig, she knows she could launch her own label and earn even more money as people want to buy whatever she has.”
