Last month, Andrea McLean announced she was leaving Loose Women after 13 years on the show.
Speaking to her fellow panellists in November, Andrea revealed she had made the difficult decision to focus on her website and brand This Girl is on Fire, and therefore would be saying goodbye to Loose Women.
Ahead of Andrea's last show today (16 Dec), the Loose Women Instagram account posted a sweet tribute to the star, sharing a photograph of her early days on the show alongside a more recent picture of Andrea on set.
The first photo shows Andrea with short, light brown hair and a full fringe, while the next picture is a more recent snap of the star with her long brunette waves.
Alongside the pictures, a caption read: "It feels like just yesterday she took her seat at the desk and now we're saying au revoir to our @andreamclean1 ❤️"
Many Loose Women fans were gutted to hear it was Andrea's last day and took to the comment section of the post to wish her well.
"Such a sad day for LW fans but wishing Andrea the best of luck in her future endeavours! 🥂💖x," one fan wrote, while another added: "Good luck in your new ventures. You will definitely be missed 😘 xxx"
In November, Andrea shared the news with her fellow Loose Women panellists and the show's fans.
While speaking with Linda Robson, Brenda Edwards and Saira Khan on the show, she said: "You get one life, are you living it the way that you want? And are you doing everything that you want to do? Are you being brave? Are you taking chances? And I realised, no."
Becoming emotional, Andrea added: "I didn’t think I was going to cry. I’ve told you ladies just before we came on air. I’m going to be leaving Loose Women because I want to be brave... all the incredible feedback that I had from my book and the support I was able to give them, I want to bring it to life. It was a really, really big decision to jump and see if I fall or if I fly. And I just thought, I will never know unless I try, so I am saying goodbye to Loose Women."
Good luck Andrea, we can't wait to see what you do next!
