- An Instagram account under Mike Tindall's name has been launched, and it appears to be the real deal.
- The royal has been sharing a glimpse into his life and charity work.
While the major royals all have official Instagram accounts –like Prince Harry and Meghan Markle @SussexRoyal, and Prince William and Kate Middleton @KensingtonRoyal – some are able to have their own private account. Princess Eugenie, for example, recently announced her sister Princess Beatrice's engagement on hers – while Sarah Ferguson also has an account.
And now it appears Mike Tindall is joining them. Zara Tindall's husband, and the Queen's grandson-in-law, just launched his own Instagram account, and it's full of sweet pictures including his wife and friends.
He recently shared a picture of himself with Zara at a recent Land Rover charity event which saw them take part in a day of clay shooting to raise money for wildlife conservation charity Tusk. He wrote: "Great day clay shooting for @tusk_org supported by @landrover_uk. Finished up 3rd but it was a lot of fun!!"
He's also shared pictures of himself alongside TalkSPORT presenter Russell Hargreaves and actor James Nesbitt.
Speaking to Ben Shepherd and Kate Galloway on Good Morning Britain, Mike admitted he was asked by producers, but said: "I definitely don't think the nation needs me to dance."
He told them: "It appears you need to be small like Austin [Healey] and [Matt] Dawson to win. All the taller rugby guys – not so good."
Maybe social media is his calling!
