- Go inside That Boutique-y Gin Company gin advent calendar, to get a glimpse of what you could be opening every day in December 2019.
It's true that we will take literally any excuse to drink a gin and tonic. Had a bad day? Gin and tonic. Had a good day? Gin and tonic. Which is why the month of December, aka the month of having an advent calendar, is the perfect time to double down on your obsession and treat yourself to a different gin each day. Yep, we went there.
Please welcome to the stage: The boutique gin advent calendar, which just shot to the top of our Christmas list.
During December 2017 and December 2018, that Boutique-y Gin Company partnered up with Drinks by Dram to create what they're calling an "extraordinary haul of festive spirits", in the shape of this special calendar. While there's currently no word on a 2019 version, we have no doubt it will definitely happen - especially considering how popular the last two years have been.
Behind each of the 25 doors of December, gin fans are offered a 3cl miniature bottle from the world’s first independent gin bottler - featuring flavoured gins such as cherry gin, rhubarb triangle gin and chocolate orange gin. Other options include mojito gin, yuzu gin and yuletide gin, and yep, we want to try them all.
The product description on the site reads: "Want to count down to Christmas while sipping on some truly unique gins? The award-winning world's-first independent gin bottler is most definitely well-equipped to make this possibility a reality for you with That Boutique-y Gin Company's Advent Calendar!
"The brand has teamed up with Drinks by the Dram to specially select 24 different and extraordinary gins to create a unique Advent Calendar that will surprise you every time you open one of the 24 doors. Behind each door is a generous 30ml wax-sealed sample dram of a different gin from That Boutique-y Gin Company, which has become known for creating and bottling some of the most imaginative gins you'll ever drink. The perfect thing for gin-lovers looking to explore what their favourite spirit has to offer."
One of the product reviews on their site reads, "Festive looking and a great selection of Gins....Brilliant another Ginvent calendar and £50 cheaper than the other type - love that there are more flavoured gins in this one and that it is really festive in appearance - definitely buying it!!"
Considering how cute the box looks and how delicious some of the gins sound, we're pretty sold. How early are we allowed to get an advent calendar, please?
