Trends come and go but if there’s any decade I could re-live for its fashion and beauty, it would be the 90s, hands down.

The frosty lipstick, baby blue eyeshadow and flared trousers, complete with a skirt on top, just screams wholesome nostalgia to me. Which is why I couldn’t be more thrilled that 90s trends are huge at the moment.

Just look at Lizzo. The singer posted a series of fire pictures on Instagram, in which she has suuuuuper long pigtails and oversized hoops. But the best part? Her pigtails are decorated with butterfly clips that I’m pretty sure are similar to the ones I wore for my seventh birthday party. Except, Lizzo makes it look super cool and trendy. Love, love, love.

Lizzo isn’t the only one rocking 90s-inspired hair accessories, either. On the same day, Bella Hadid posted a bunch of Instagram pictures with her hair casually tossed up into a large yellow crocodile clip.

Personally, I could never really nail the effortless vibe of a crocodile clip – they either broke or my hair would unravel in a matter of minutes but this may have convinced me to give them another shot.

Now, I just need to dust off my favourite S Club 7 (S Club, of course) and dig out a cut-out halterneck top. Thank you, ladies for letting me live my 90s fantasy.
