Just when we thought we couldn't love Lizzo any more than we already do, she strips off, covers herself in diamante-encrusted stars and shows off a new green hairdo.

Her red carpet beauty has always caught our attention, but she's mainly worth a follow for the way she educates people on the importance of voting, and what can be done next in the fight against racism.

The Grammy winner is also known for her infectious self-love ethos and body-positive attitude, like when she used TikTok recently to clap back at body shamers, telling them:

'I've been working out consistently for the past five years and it may come as a surprise to some of y'all that I'm not working out to have your ideal body type, I'm working out to have my ideal body type.

'And you know what type that is?" the singer continued, "none of your f***ing business. Because I am beautiful, I am strong, I do my job and I stay on my job.'

Lizzo's latest picture captures all of the above, as she can be seen posing serenely in the sunlight, sporting a ringleted green updo, with a matching eye look and manicure.

Lizzo tagged in the team behind her dazzling look, including celebrity hairstylist @theshelbyswain and @daretohavehair, a company specialising in wigs and hair pieces. Her make-up was the work of celebrity make-up artist Alex Mayo.

Fans loved the look, filling her comments with declarations of love, green hearts and sparkles.

'wow, wow, wow,' wrote one follower, while another added: 'I wasn't ready for this magic.'

And she's not the only celebrity to have debuted a new hairdo during lockdown. Myleene Klass, Emily Ratajkowski and Sarah Michelle Gellar are just a few of the well-known faces to give themselves a switch-up while in quarantine. See for yourself here.
