Lizzo Appeared on "Made in Chelsea" Before She Was Famous, Here’s the Proof

A clip has resurfaced of Lizzo appearing on E4's reality show "Made in Chelsea" back in 2014 and it's blown our minds. Yes, the actual Lizzo performed an intimate gig for Jamie Laing and co. during an episode of the special summer series filmed in New York, unsurprisingly called "Made in Chelsea: NYC", and we can't believe we missed it.

Not long after the "Juice" singer released her first album, "Lizzobangers", did the star appear on the show as she toured the US with her music to raise her profile. With blonde hair, she performs a cover of Blondie's "Rapture" in an intimate New York venue with the "Made in Chelsea" cast in the audience, including Binky Felstead, Louise Thompson, and Oliver Proudlock. Her performance came between scenes of the trials and tribulations of the posh pals as we watched their relationship breakups, friendship drama, and romances play out on screen.

"Made in Chelsea", which has just released its 24th season, has a history of featuring up-and-coming artists on the show, some on the soundtrack and others filmed at gigs. After her spin on reality TV, Lizzo has gone on to top the charts with infectious songs like "About Damn Time" and "Good as Hell", win multiple awards including three Grammys, and become a role model for body positivity.

It's humbling to see Lizzo, who has proven her love of reality TV having also tweeted about her backing of Indiyah on this year's "Love Island", pay her dues as her career went on to soar. From small New York clubs to stadiums, her tour set to come to the UK next year, we wonder if the "Made in Chelsea" alumni have got tickets . . .
