While many high street stores have been offering discounts throughout November, from Friday 29 November to Monday 2 December, the discounts are ramped up, with many retailers offering their best savings of the year so far — we've spotted some savings of up to 60%.

When is Black Friday 2024?
This year, Black Friday itself lands on Friday 29 November 2024.
Originally, Black Friday only lasted 24 hours — but as time has gone on, most retailers and brands don't just limit their sales to a single day. Instead, we see early deals start on November 1st and run for the entire month.
A lot of retailers also opt for a Black Friday week, with deals starting on the Monday (25th) before Black Friday and ending on Cyber Monday, which, this year, trickles over onto Monday 2 December.
How can I find the best deals?

One of the easiest ways to keep in the loop with deals is by setting up notifications. This will vary between retailers, but most of the time, you'll be alerted once a price changes.

If you have an account ahead of time, already armed with important details like your name and address, you'll be able to swiftly head to checkout without running into any potential issues. It also means you'll be able to favourite items you're interested in prior to the sale starting.
Carefully read reviews
It might sound obvious but if you want a real idea of how a product works, what the quality is like, and whether it lives up to expectation, then giving the reviews a read before purchasing is always a good idea.
Create a wishlist
Do your research beforehand and make a list of the items you want the most. This way, you're less likely to buy impulsively (although, sometimes it can't be helped if there's a fantastic offer).
