'Lion of London Bridge' set to be released from jail after serving time for breaching court order
A man dubbed the ‘Lion of London Bridge’ is set to be released from prison after he was jailed for breaching court orders, it has been reported.
Roy Larner was praised after taking on jihadis during the terror attack on London Bridge in June 2017, famously shouting: ‘F**k you, I'm Millwall’.
But the 49-year-old later became the subject of media attention when footage of a racist tirade was shared online.
Larner was spared jail last year, instead received a suspended sentence after admitting racially aggravated common assault and religiously aggravated harassment over the video of him spitting at a black photographer and shouting abuse. He had also launched a racist rant outside his MP’s office.
But Larner was later jailed after breaching a restraining order given to his mother Phyllis following his conviction for damaging a television at her home, The Sun reported.
He has now served five weeks and is set to be released, the newspaper reported.
According to The Sun, Larner had moved back in with his mother, who didn’t want to make him homeless, breaching the court order.

After the video of his racist rant at the photographer, Larner’s mother had claimed that protestors had said something about his dogs, sparking his anger.
During the tirade, Larner shouted: ““People like you stink like s***. Foreigners, c***s. Foreigners can f*** off. Shut up. F*** off you foreign c***.’
