Season six of Line of Duty has been a non-stop whirlwind right from the start, and episode four was perhaps the most dramatic yet, with ambushes, tense interviews and most importantly, a DNA test. After the dramatic cliffhanger, which revealed that DCI Jo Davidson is related to someone on the police database, a number of fans are convinced they know exactly who her mystery relative is, and it does make quite a lot of sense.
During the episode AC-12 expanded the search of Farida Jatri's home, looking for evidence to support Farida's claim that Davidson had been living there with her and could have been the one to plant burner phones at the property. By the end of the nail-biting episode we not only discover that Jo's DNA was found throughout the house, but also that her DNA actually matches someone already in the police database.
In the tense scene Steve and Chloe present their findings to Hastings, who gives us perhaps the most deserved "Mother of God" from the season so far. So, while we're all trying to work out who exactly her mystery relative could be, some fans think they've already sussed it out and they are convinced it's late undercover officer, John Corbett.
For many fans this latest development is confirmation of a previous theory that Corbett and Davidson are siblings, which first began after we saw a picture of Davidson with what appeared to be her mother in an earlier episode.
Viewers quickly began discussing the similarities between the older woman in the photo and the birth mother of John Corbett - the undercover officer involved in the OCG in series five.
However, others are convinced Jo's relative has to be crime boss Tommy Hunter who was a major part of the OCG in previous seasons.
Next week's episode cannot come soon enough.
