Lindsay Lohan believes backlash she received over Ungaro designs was 'unfair'
Lindsay Lohan has claimed the "backlash" she received over her Ungaro designs was "unfair".
Back in 2009, the Mean Girls actress was named as artistic adviser for the French fashion house and collaborated with designer Estrella Archs on the line.
While the collection garnered poor reviews and Lohan left the company soon after, in an interview for Who What Wear, she considered whether the reaction was deserved.
"It's funny. I think about when I was creative director for Ungaro," she said. "I got so much backlash for putting nipple tassels on the girls on the runway, and now, everyone does that, or they're not wearing anything, and I'm like, 'That's not fair!'"
After taking a long break from Hollywood, Lohan is back with her festive Netflix film, Falling for Christmas.
For the press circuit, the star has teamed up with celebrity stylist Law Roach on her looks, and accordingly, she's excited to be experimenting with fashion again.
"I haven't gone to Paris in so long. I haven't gone to fashion week. I miss that," the 36-year-old continued. "I do miss being involved in the fashion scene."
